| Bladestorm: The Hundred Years gamers in the role of a rogue commander and gives them direct control of mercenary units in fierce clashes with English and French forces. The gamestyle of action thrusts players into dynamic and ever-changing conflicts. Players must adjust their strategies as skirmishes evolve, and then deploy the unit best-suited to handle the challenge. At a player is a broad array of troops including infantry, archers, and cavalry, as well as a variety of specialized units such as elephant units, cannoniers, and castle siege specialists. While each unit is comprised of autonomous soldiers, each warrior will contribute to the assigned objective. | | Bladestorm: The Hundred Yearsizes a ionhat allows players to align their forces with either the French or English on a battle-by-battle basis. Playing the demo this looked promising. However, playing the full version is just endles more of the same. It is easy to master and provide little chalanges. In the end it was just the same over and over again.

Also, there are a lot of customizable features for your character and you can choose what type of squad you want to take charge of. However, after not too long, the large battles get extremely repetitive, and you find yourself repeating yourself over and over with the same troops and same tactics. The storyline is very fragmented as it takes a lot of battles to move from one part to the next and it can get very dull and you begin to lose interest. The idea for the game is very good but i think it has been poorly made compared to the standard of a lot of games out for the next gen consoles. If this had been made to a higher standard, it would be very good, but not for me.

But the problems start when all your stats are so high you cant be killed, or if you play it continuously the game becomes repetitive. Either way it is fun and worth buying.

Yes some of the fighting is like Dyansty Warriors but the game involves a lot more skill than just running in and killing lots of people. The game goes into a lot more depth than any Dyansty Warriors game and in total is a lot more interesting game. Dont be fooled by the makers and look of the game, this is a good game.

I played it and enjoyed it very much. Ok the beginning is cheesey and the voice acting dodgy, but the gameplay is very fun. The battles are large, slightly tactical and intense. It is still like Dynasty Warriors but with more team-based elements instead of1 Man Army style gameplay. Very good game in my opinion.
