This really is a very good game. The main selling point is the gameplay, which at first seems to difficult to master, but this is because it is actually more realistic than any other football game ive played. You cant just dribble around an entire team and score each time, even in the easiest mode, which sometimes is a little frustrating, but goals are more rewarding and realistic. To unlock a defence, you need to use clever through balls or attack down the flanks, because beating a defender one-on-one is difficult. There is a decent amount of challenges, etc. after youve won the world cup, and I would definitley recommend this game to any football fan.

The game is really fun and really addictive. It takes some time getting used to at the start which will result in you losing to very easy teams, but with a bit of practise its pretty easy to score. Infact, the game arrived today and i won the world cup with England without too much trouble, i will try the harder settings next.
The graphics arnt great but they are acceptable. Id say that for a handheld console they are relatively good. Sometimes annoying shadows from the stadium block the ball out a bit, however it is not too bad.
Amazon offers a really good service, i chose the first class delivery and it came within a few days. The list price is also a lot cheaper then the high street and other gaming websites.
Overall i rate fifa world cup 2006 4 out of 5 stars as gameplay and graphics could be better but it is certainly very addictive!

This game is much more enjoyable than the previous two, the game play is much smoother, the commentary is much better and the controls are more responsive. I still think though that pro evo 5 is a long way ahead of fifa in all areas, but this game is well worth the money.
