I was bought one as a present and then had great difficulty obtaining
replacement pads. However, I discovered that Blackspur supplied a pack of
6 for only 99p. The pack contains grades of 60, 80, & 120 grades. Order

A very good tool but once you`ve used the supplied pads you`re beat.
Bought some similar pads at a flea market and drilled the breather holes
in the correct place. Problem is, you end up with more holes than sanding
pad. You must NOT cover those holes on the machine unless it`s a very
quick job.

Bought this from Argos, Focus don`t have any McKeller sheets so now I`m
stuffed. What`s the point in selling a sander that nobody stocks sheets
for? Asked in Argos store about sheets, they had no idea about where to
get them, suggested Focus. I suggested they stick their sander where the
sun don`t shine. My advice is pay the extra and stick with Bosch or Black
& Decker. At least you`ll be able to use it more than
once.

I think the sander is good. As everyone else I had trouble finding
replacement pads then found some in Focus DIY. The make is McKeller and
they come in a pack of 5 assorted palm sanding pads. The only cost £4.99
and are an exact match.

I have had one of these sanders for over a year and have always find it
easy to do a job, especially on windows sills. However, I too, have had
problems in finding replacement sanding discs. My only alternative was to
purchase black and decker sheets and trim to size. I then used a paper
punch to align the correct holes.
This can work out a bit expensive but remember the discs are good ones and
last a lot longer.

I wasn`t dissapointed with this sanders performance. It gets right into
the edges and is pretty powerful. It does the job great, and at a
reasonable price. Although it does get pretty hot to hold after a while.
Like the reviews before this though, I am having big trouble trying to
find new replacement sheets. Which basically makes it a bit de-funct
after you have used up the sheets provided. Which is why it`s getting a 3
and not a 4.
