The Hewlett-Packard High Performance Computing LC Series of compute farm clusters is the first announcement in a series of HP IA32 High Performance Computing solutions. The LC Series is designed to give the entry to mid range high performance computer customer a range of cluster performance choices. The node sizes and interconnect options to satisfy a range of uses and application environments from 16 node non blocking switched 10/100 Fast Ethernet clusters to 128 node high bandwidth low latency message passing clusters using the de facto compute cluster interconnect standard Myrinet XP Fiber NICs and Switches. With the 11 individual pre-configured cluster configurations, the customer has a wide choice of options to meet their specific computing needs.The 128 node Intel Xeon DP Linux Cluster comes in 4 10642 (42U) Racks and consists of a DL380 Control node/Management Server, 127 DL360 Compute nodes, one Myrinet XP 17 Slot Switch Frame and Switch Modules, 8 HP Procurve 2650 10/100 Fast Ethernet switche
