This is my first electric shaver. I have used them before, but always gave up because of the extreme irritation to my skin. I travel on planes a lot, and you cannot take razors with you onto aircraft. So I decided to try this shaver, if I didnt like it, I could take it back.
Firstly, this shaver produces very little skin irritation. The worst I experienced was on the third day. I dont experience any irritation now, provided I use a balm or aftershave. Remember, this is more of an abrasive action on your skin compared to using razors.
Secondly, this shaver doesnt save you money. What you save on razors you will pay out on aftershave / balms.
Thirdly, if you are expecting an instant shave you will be dissapointed. You do have to go over your skin several times using different angles to get a good shave.
And lastly, it is gives you an unexpectedly good shave. It is almost on a par with wet shaving. With no cuts. And when you are in a rush in the morning that is important.
