The phone was the wrong colour and was used, not new. No replacement available as none in stock. Got my money back but very dissapointed as this was supposed to be a birthday gift.

Personally I feel that the phone feels somewhat flimsy, and to be honest its a little bit tacky. Its also quite large. As previous reviewers have stated, the interface is abysmal. And if theres a stop watch on there, I cant find it for the life of me. You can create five custom alarms, but the process of changing and enabling alarms is somewhat long-winded. And dont consider having two different alarms with the same time, even if one is not enabled. It just wont let you. The only good thing about this phone is the large keypad, which makes texting about as speedy as it can be. However, it is very easy to send a text when youre half-way through composing, which is annoying. Overall I wouldnt recommend this phone to anyone.

The alarm volume changes, goes up very few days. it is clumsy to turn off when you are half asleep. The predictive text on this phone is pathetic and difficult to use i tried to do end and it couldnt find it, stupid or what.
Battery life is absolute rubbish, barely an hour.
When you get a text it reminds you every ten minutes which only manages to run the battery down, I have read the manuel but that is about as much use as a chocolate fireguard!You can;t change that reminder.
Overall the phone looks great but that is where it ends.
Dont buy, it is frustrating

The mp3 player part of this device is pretty good, with decent sound and dynamic range. I still cant believe that mp3 players are being made without a resume track where you stopped function - many podcasts I listen to are over an hour long so it takes me a few trips to listen to one in its entirety.
The awful part about this phone is the battery. The lifetime is pathetic - a claimed lifetime of 3-5 hours of talk-time is realistically about 1-1.5 hours. The case heats up significantly when used for calls. This is clearly an instance of bad design, particularly in a phone that is a model relatively light on features.
Also, the camera is just not up to scratch in todays market. Im happy with 2 megapix, but the colours are very cold and pixel noise is significant. Even with post-editing the images are just not good enough.
This could have been one of those understated phones that is stylish and does its job, and that one would be happy using for years. But it seems that this isnt what technology manufacturers want these days.

It has the potential of a very loud ring tone, which is the envy of every woman with a handbag!
It is clear, bluetooth is great. You can change to silent or vibrate without opening it.
It opens easily with one hand.
One downside, it has a micro usb and I mean micro. Had a bit of a job getting a car charger and no chance of ever borrowing a charger if you have forgotten yours
An excellent phone and they have improved on the build quality since the first one.

The brand new product I purchased came with, no means of initiating the warranty period and the authenticity of the product could not be verified. I believe that other sellers products are genuine but Go Buy 2000 supplied a so-called brand new product to me in a re-sealable plastic bag! and not a blister-pack as advertised. They will also tell you that Amazon advise them not to refund postage costs. This is of course a lie. Of course Amazon do not advise their sellers not to refund postage. Judging by the feedback Go Buy 2000 are getting it can only be a matter of time before Amazon suspend their account. If you dont want to be disappointed please use another seller

I suppose maybe Motorola couldve hired native english speakers to write the manual, but since it has no useful content that wouldnt have helped much. The charger moves away from the super handy everyone has one usb plug to a unique item with a silly plastic cap (until it broke off after less than a day). The phone interface is terrible, finding things is pot luck, and a lot of things (like the vile pink interface) cannot be changed. Did I mention the pathetic battery life?
Not a bad mp3 player, but I wanted a phone. Rubbish. Dont wate your money if the old V3i is still available.

With its slim width and touch screen front this phone seems to have it all. The only disadvantedge is that it doesnt have a good memory. In certain shops though you can get a small memory or a larger one. Soon they think they might be able to get a 2gb. The camara is a 2mp and that is very reasonable. The touch screen just makes it even more special. I am only 11 but I think this a is very promising phone for the futere to devellop on.
