| Jessops | Astronomical Telescope 1100-102 | V Happy with this product, I`m not an astronomy pro but it`s fantastic value for money as far as I`m concerned. I`ve had a look at the moon, jupiter and moons, the orion nebula and andromeda galaxy. I have also had the telescope for a couple of years and it`s still going strong. :) | | Sam | 12/01/2012 |

| Celestron | Powerseeker 675 | this telescope is really good but if you can`t find nothing at night what you have to do is at daytime tkan it outside focus the telescope on a object such as a block of flat or a house in the distance make sure you can see it with your eyepiece (USE THE WEAKEST LENSE WHICH IS K20) then line up the laser with the object your seeing and then at night look at big objects in the sky like the moon for a couple of night and try to focus it in and you`ll see every crater on the moon literally this is just to get you used to it then try to focus one stars with the eyepiece SR4 and focus it and then planets such as venus of mars or jupiter and download or but a sky map to help you but it is a brilliant telescope for a begginer | | Patrick | 05/01/2012 |

| EDU Science | Star-Gazer 70 Telescope | This scope is absolute junk. It is so flimsy and wobbly that it will entirely discourage and disappoint any child that tries to use it. I wouldn`t recommend this if it only cost £10. It actually costs £50 which is far, far too much. It would be £50 wasted. There are much better options at this price - a good pair of binoculars for instance. If you want to buy your child a telescope spend a little more - around £90 will get you a nice telescope. Check out Skywatcher scopes for instance. | | Jz | 29/12/2011 |

| Meade | Starlight 80 plus Torch | This telescope gives crisp clear views.I have owned other 80mm scopes, one being the etx 80 and this scope easily compares. For its price I would definately recommend this telescope to a beginner or even amateur astronomer. Its a good quality built telescope that will last for many years. | | paul crossland | 07/09/2011 |

| Jessops | Astronomical Telescope 1100-102 | As a beginner, I found this a good introduction to amateur astronomy. However the collimation was a bit out, and so I bought a collimator and adjusted it - much improved! I found little use for the multiplier lens, the maximum magnification eyepiece is probably about the limit for this scope. I saw the moons and bands of Jupiter and the rings of Saturn, also many hours of looking at the Moon. | | Tim | 12/07/2011 |

| Jessops | Astronomical Telescope 1100-102 | Great starter telescope for those on a budget. Eyepieces are (obviously) not the greatest, however, it is much better than 70mm reflectors which can cost £100+. I have had some great views of the moon as well as a good enough view of Jupiter to see cloudlines and its moons. | | Drew Dilger | 15/09/2010 |

| Skywatcher | explorer 150 | Outstanding views of Mars, had to look twice couldnt believe the ammount of little green men with strange antenna protruding from their egg shapped heads. | | Phil Mc avity | 19/01/2009 14:43:48 |

|
| Skywatcher | Infinity-76 Deluxe | Superb piece of kit. Light, robust, easy to use. Definitely much more than a toy. Great to use as spotting scope as well as for astronomy. Note that it only comes with the x30 erecting eyepiece - others have to ordered as accessories. | | Rocket Ron | 30/06/2008 08:15:26 |

| Tasco | Starguide 114 | i got this for christmas and it is great. Have used it many times, and it has helped me loads. Great telescope, brilliant for observing planets like jupiter, and nebula, and it is easy to use | | Anon | 25/04/2006 09:40:07 |

| Helios | Starlux | A good telescope for the moon and other large planets. Downside is it uses mirrors, so you get the view backwards. Still an excellent buy. Get this thing! | | Alex Bellis-Brown | 08/08/2003 22:40:38 |

|
| Helios | Starlux | An excellent telescope, gives clear sharp images. Can see the bands on jupiter, the rings of saturn and the orion nebula. Its also very small and compact, but don't be fooled by its size. Its well built and can take a pounding or two.
Overall I give it a 4 because you need a table to rest it on. | | IndieBoy | 27/06/2003 08:28:00 |

| Skywatcher | Explorer 130M | You have to know what you`re doing - very fiddly. If you`re a beginner be prepared for a steep learning curve. Better starting with a Meade refractor with GOTO function unless you`re ready to get to grips with a tricky scope... | | Scotmonk | 31/10/2005 07:42:12 |

|
| BUSHNELL | Deep Space Reflector Telescope 525x3 | Its rubbish lads. No fine tuning adjustment, very wobbily...when you try to focus you end up pushing it off your view. Good for the moon, but not much else. | | Brian | 21/02/2006 12:38:43 |
| |
|
| BUSHNELL | Deep Space Reflector Telescope 525x3 | Brian is absolutely right. I got this scope as a gift about 3 years ago and it`s been in mothballs ever since. The `fine tuning` adjustment may as well not be there - my 7 yr old could have designed better. Touch the scope even lightly and it moves - useless for stars and not good for planets. It does give some good views of the moon, but that`s it. Furthermore Bushnell weren`t interested in talking to me about it. In short, a complete waste of money! | | Martin | 11/04/2009 08:51:10 |

| Skywatcher | explorer 150 | it`s rubbish really, i couldn`t even see 2ft in front of me. it might be because i was in the dark in my room with the curtains shut, but it`s still rubbish. | | patrick moore | 25/04/2007 12:03:39 |

| Tasco | Luminova 675 x Reflector | This telescope is absolutely awful, you can see better using your own eyes. For the price, this is absolutely atrocious. STAY AWAY FROM TASCO PRODUCTS. | | Disgruntled buyer | 08/08/2006 21:01:44 |

| Tasco | Luminova 675 x Reflector | I was bought this piece of Junk for Christmas, GO NO WHERE NEAR IT. Shoddy build quality, poor quality eye pieces, laughable target scope, | | NoPro | 02/01/2003 08:43:20 |

|
| Tasco | Starguide 114 | I stupidly purchased this product from The "Earth and Space" shop in Bluewater. I should have checked here as they charged £499 for the product. 25% extra is a total rip-off. I shall take pages of the Argos advert and hand them out, outside the shop every evening until xmas if he does not wish to do anything about this issue. :(
As for the product. It has been bought as a present and have not yet tested it. | | Bert | 11/12/2002 16:55:37 |
