This collection contains the stories by A.A. Milne from Winnie-the-Pooh (1926) and The House at Pooh Corner (1928) and the poems from When We Were Very Young (1924) and Now We Are Six (1927). The character of Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger, Kanga and Roo are based on the real nursery toys belonging to A.A. Milne's son, Christopher Robin. The arrtist, E.H. Shepard, loving depicted the Forest and the toys in his illustrations.
