The mother and father of cache pots, and their baby too! A delightful set of blue and white ceramic planters with very elegant serrated rims. These are based on 17th and eighteenth century silver and porcelain examples called Monteiths after an eccentric aristocrat whose cloak had a ragged hem.Often these containers were used to chill wine glasses by filling them with iced water but nowadays planters such as this are much in demand as vases or containers for spring bulbs. Decorated with fish swimming amongst coral these are pretty and practical.
