Bought this washer dryer 22/11/2007 from Curry`s it was delivered 27/11/2007 my old washer/dryer just completely conked out so i was left with no washer/dryer for 10 days and a mountain of unwashed laundry belonging to my husband and myself. Curry`s delivery guys were very pleasant they took the old washer/dryer away and fitted the new Hotpoint for me. It took me about a week playing catch-up with my laundry but having had the washer/dryer for 6 weeks the washer/dryer has become problematic. It does not dry and the washer/dryer is very noisy it supposed to be environmentally friendly. I wish now i had listened to my husband and bought a cheaper washer/dryer now. I have an engineer coming out 23/01/2008 so fingers crossed. But i would not reccomend this washer/dryer to anyone my husband and i live in a studio flat the machine is very noisey which is quite unpleasant when trying to watch tv.

Bought this washer/dryer 22/11/2007 i wish i had have come to this site first!! I only had my machine 5 weeks and it started becoming problematic it is not drying at all. Hotpoint engineer coming out wednesday 23rd january 2008 to fix the dam thing i,m sorry i bought this washer /dryer Help!!!

Bought this machine on 8/11/06. Drying was awful sometimes taking up to 2-3 hours to dry anything! Finally broke July 07 i.e. flashing lights and/or no power therefore couldn`t even use it to wash. Engineer came - didn`t have the parts, finally cameback with parts and couldn`t fix it. Got sent a replacment machine on 7/8/07 (same one unfortunately!) This machine now will not dry AT ALL. A further engineer has now been arranged for this Monday 14th Jan 08. Totally awful - would definitely NOT recommend this machine to anyone!

I bought my first Washer Dryer on 28 December 06, delivered 6/1/07 returned within the week for another machine, again, returned within the week for another machine. The first fault was the drying facility. It simply did not work - the clothese were coming out wetter than they went in. Relucatantly agreed for an engineer to come out. The first visit was February - module replaced - took 2 visits and 3 weeks to fix. Second engineer visit was June - again for the dryer function - reported no fault found ! Now sitting here 24 August, again waiting for the third engineer - again dryer function not working! As for the washing machine function - some things still come out stained. Not as good as the Zanussi I last had.

nothing but trouble, broke down 4 time in 2 years, hotpoint customer service is totally unhelpful and out of warrenty want to charge you a fortune just to come out and look at the machine. Would not recommend, wish I had found this web site before I purchased machine
