Absolutely fantastic. My beige carpet was filthy (Husband, kids, animals
etc) and it now looks brand new after cleaning it with the VAX. Brilliant
product - if you disagree then either your VAX isnt working properly or
its simply time for a new carpet!!

i think mine is great! the water was black after i used it and the carpet
looked great after one shampoo.

Very good cleaner, the dirt that came up was shocking (I used a friends
not so good cleaner less than 2 months ago)
Easy to use, I put the soap on , then on some tougher spots used brushes
and soap then brushed whilst sucking up then water, left it able to walk
on slightly damp but dry within 2 hours GREAT PRODUCT

Having hire DIY carpet washer before this beats anything out there.
Living in a house with boys and dogs it has had a good test and performs
satisfactorily

I cannot believe the negative comments here. The filthy water from nearly
new carpets speaks for itself. Surely the results are worth the effort. If
mine packed up it would be replaced immediately.

I have to disagree with all the previous comments - my Vax works like a
dream! I have a cream carpet in the main bedroom and it had become really
quite grubby. I didn`t think one clean alone would be enough, but it came
up looking like new - even fluffed up the pile.
Sure the carpet was damp afterwards - but surely you don`t expect it to be
dry when you`ve just washed it?? It was by no means sodden, just damp. You
have to go over it first to soap it, then again to rinse it, then finally
to soak up any excess moisture...perhaps they were omitting this last
stage??
And yes, it is cumbersome - but considering what it does, it`s a pretty
neat design and I can`t see how it could be made any smaller without
reducing the size of the fresh and waste water tanks.
Very pleased with mine - at least it gets me off my hands and knees!

Didn`t do a bad job on the normal carpet cleaning but the upholstery tool
is useless, the hose keeps coming adrift.

It dilutes it own solution tank with water from the clean tank. Its my 2nd
one take it back to the shop
