| Lucas arts | Star Wars Battlefront II Xbox | Im not a huge star wars fan but this game rocks. Its jsut awesome. The levels are large and varied in their environments, the gameplay is excellent and the space battles are a great addition. Also playable heroes makes this game the best. Theres nothing better than the beach at kashyyk or the courtyard on naboo. In fact there are so many awesome battles that youll never get bored. Playing as the CIS, rebels, storm troopers, is jsut brilliant but you can take control of wookies, droidekas, even those giant ape things on Hoth. As well as yoda, han solo, darth maul, vader, the emperor, boba fett and many more. There tonnes of vehicles and differing static weapons as well, so you can jump into tanks or massive guns when you want to. Lots of different campaigns and modes too to keep you busy. | | Microsoft | HALO COMBAT EVOLVED | The Title says it all!, Flawless story and brill graphics and im saying this even though i am a proud owner of CoD: world at war, COD 4 and halo 3 even though i own all theese halo keeps calling me back, i have an urge to go on halo everybtime i go on my 360(it can playxbox 1 games coz its an elite) it truly is something special although i agrre that they should have added bots to it

| | Konami | Shadow of Memories Xbox | I bought this game one rainy afternoon after I ducked into a shop to take cover. I had the day off and some spare cash, and the weather was awful. While I browsed the shelves I uncovered this little gem, and took it home to play.
If youre a fan of time travel movies and games, youll enjoy this. Its fun to explore the different things that you can do which will affect the timeline, and each of the endings has a surprise or two. While you interact with the world in a simple way, there are a number of mind-bending puzzles, like how to warn yourself of your impending death without letting yourself know that its you.
The game is atmospheric, fun to explore, and will have time travel fans playing over and over to see what else they can change or accomplish.

| | TAKE 2 | The Warriors Xbox | I completed it about 2 years ago and am bored in work so thought Id come back and give it the thumbs up it deserves.
One thing that stood out for me is the AI. Throughout the game youll find yourself in gang rumbles. Everyone gets stuck in and your buddies really cover your back (95% of the time). I hate other games where your so called buddies are completely useless e.g. CODWAW. They get in your way or stand around doing nothing while you die.
Theres a lot of good old fashion button bashing when things get violent but it never gets boring or feels monotonous. You can hit people with bottles, bricks, bats and anything else you can pick up. Plus, the sound effects when you connect are fantastic. It actually feels like your doing someone considerable damage.
This review is bringing back some good memories. I hope its compatible with my 360 cause I gave to old xbox away. Next generation or not, a good game is always a good game!

The graphics are good, the gameplay although uncomplicated is good fun, the weapons are awesome (a subterranean shark gun of all things) and highly polished cut-scenes which are funny with excellent characters. Im not normally one for cut-scenes but this is the only storyline and bunch of characters Ive ever liked in a game. | | THQ | Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy Xbox | First the bad: no voice acting although all the full speech animations are clearly present, probably a late cost cutting exercise. A bit of slowdown in areas with lots of animated elements and the occasional frame rate hiccup when certain monsters appear. Not much replay value either unless youre a completist and want to capture all 35 monster types. Apart from these things I cant think of anything really bad to say about Sphinx And The Cursed Mummy. It is just a great not so little platformer. Between the two characters you play there is about as much gameplay variety as youre ever likely to find in a game like this. The puzzles are imaginative and I found them nicely pitched in difficulty too, both physical and cerebral. The sword fighting is simple but you do need to understand enemy attack patterns or you will get hurt, particularly in mixed enemy areas. The lack of lock on can cause some problems too. The boss fights are just right, tough enough to be interesting, youll fail a couple of times at least, but you should get what youve got to do quite quickly if you use your eyes and brain. The music is good, the story simple but effective and the script well written. Special mention should go to the animators, especially those who designed the mummy, a wonderfully characterful creation. The graphics in general are also stunningly good, less cartoony than the character models the locations are often beautifully atmospheric creations. I bought this game from Amazon about 4 years ago after it was recommended to me by somebody on a gaming forum. | | Microsoft | HALO COMBAT EVOLVED | The gameplay is great, the game is well balanced and the range of weapons, vehicles and landscapes is wide and varied, but what really makes Halo one of the best games of all time is the amazing storyline which keeps evolving throughout the game, suddenly twisting just when you think you know what is going on. I was genuinely sad at the finale of the game, and wanted the story to continue (which eventually, of course, it did in Halo 2 and 3)

| | Activision | Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic Classics Xbox | If your looking for an old school rpg, great action or just something a little differant, then this is the game for you. Now to start off, i`ve never really been a big fan of star wars, but I have to say that this game has made me a real enthusiast! if it wasn`t for the great storyline, or the gameplay itself, then it would have to be the last-ability! I can guarrantee that you will never get bored of this game, i have completed it about ten times and i still keep having to play it. great graphics, great story, great gameplay, great GAME!
