Like your racing games fast, furious and frantic, If you do then this is definately the game for you. Burnout doesnt just deliver awesome driving experiences, it gives you the opportunity to have some of the most wildest, terrific crashes in any driving game.
The idea of the game is simple, you have to drive as fast as you can through cities, mountainsides and the country, dodging in and out of on-coming traffic as you get near misses to try and fill your boost bar. Once youve got the boost you can go so fast everything is a blur (untill you crash that is!). A BURNOUT is one complete cycle of the boost bar without taking your finger of the boost button and not crashing.
After each race you can whatch replays of all your crashes in that race and you have full control of camara angle and speed of replay.
Burnout is quite simply a masterpiece which driving fans and
non-driving fans will definately enjoy playing and will want to play again and again.
There is also a great multiplayer mode which you and your friends can have races together. Most of the time it will turn into a battle of you can push your opponent head on into a lorry whilst going the wrong way down a motorway first. Its so fun!!
Overall Burnout has quite a short single player championship mode but should definately be part of any xbox owners collection.
The fact it went on the classics range means it sold very well.
