I recently went to for an interview at Rare. Here they showed me around. They asked me if I wanted the position really badly, I would have to get top marks on a new game they have not yet released. | I thought okay, whatever. They showed me the latest project Perfect dark Zero, for the XBOX2. The graphics are the best I have ever seen, blows any PC FPS apart. Also it ran so well, 60FPS and not a stutter. I played a Multiplayer map as well. To put it simply, it looks like a game of the decade. Bungie beware RARE is about to take youre crown from under youre feet. | I dont want to give out much, as I could lose my job. But everything about the game spells 11 stars out of 10. The game seems immense, the first level I was on, seemed to go on forever. But it was so engaging.., that I ddint realise an 1hr had run past. I sat in awe. Is Rare really this talented, without a doubt a BIG YES. Can they spring rabbits out of a Hat, a BIG YES! | | I met the teams at Twycross, and they are a great talented bunch. It was an actuall pleasure to meet mr pants. Also some of the team at Free radical had left Nottingham and bailed back into Rare, obviously due to Pay disputes. | | The creative talent on display is above and beyond than anything I have seen in other development studios. | Will this be the best selling game for the xbox2, I will say most definetly. | | Be prepared for one hell of a Bombshell! |
